  1. Revolutionary Snake Ensemble (Trombone, Tuba) 2nd line groove-based band bringing traditional New Orleans flavor to Funk and avant-garde Jazz

Debo Band (trombone, composer/arranger) Ethiopian groove ensemble performing classic Ethiopian music of the 70’s as well as contemporary hits. Performing in the Sauti za Busara- largest festival in E. Africa on the island of Zanzibar (2009- 2012)



Fred Ho Celestial Green Monster Big Band (tuba, bass trombone)  All -star 21 piece avant garde ensemble performing the compositions and arrangements of composer/bari sax phenom Fred Ho. Feature performance at Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in 2010 (2008-2011)


Massachusetts Cultural Council 2005 and 1997 Fellowship on Music Composition One of four recipients in the state for this Artist Grant, awarded twice, in recognition of exceptional work.  The Fellowships provide direct assistance to Massachusetts artists, to recognize exceptional work and to support the further development of their talents. They also provide artists with recognition and affirmation from their peers and the public.



Dave Harris and the Nu Quartet (leader,composer, Trombone) A new ensemble with original compositions and a fresh approach to improvisation. Original compositions merge such varied influences as Henry Threadgill, M.M. and W., and Tim Berne, with the likes of funk, rock, hip-hop, and mid-eastern dance rhythms.  Nu Quartet defines a new improvisational dynamic, “painting” group improvs around motives derived from each composition.



Brass Planet (co-leader, trombone, composer/arranger) A bold ensemble offering unique interpretations of the world's music. From Salsa to Rock, Jazz to SKa, Brass Planet fuses a multitude of styles and attitudes in a new concept for 4 trombones, tuba and drums. (1993 to present) •



Shirim Klezmer Orchestra (trombone, piano, composer/arranger)  Six piece ensemble specializing in original and reinterpretations of Yiddish music.  Performances have included such places as the Montreal Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, The Blue Note, The Jewish Museum, Ellis Island, the Smithsonian Institute; numerous concerts throughout the Miami-Palm Beach Florida area; the Jewish Arts Festival of Long Island, New York; hundreds of performances for New England schools as part of the Young Audiences program.  Guest artists performing with the ensemble include many of the country's best klezmer musicians,  as well as cellist Yo Yo Ma.   (1987-2007)
